Bridgestone tire naming is confusing...
These are the BT-002 PRO tires right? Not the BT-002 RS (Racing Street)?

I raced on these last year, here are answers to the questions:

Type 3 is the medium-soft. They are good up to about 100° track temp or 80° ambiant if there is not too much sun.

Because they are type 3, they must be the race tires. The R/S tires are not listed with compounds, they are all the same.

$225 is a smokin' deal for someone, I would buy but I am already stocked for the first half of the season.

FYI, I have taped them together and shipped through the post office for about $20. $50 seems excessive. Stickboy ships for $15 for a pair through USPS.
