In the tech section, page 21, the document references:

All Brembo brake levers must have pin saftey-wired or otherwise secured

What pin is this referencing? I've got a Brembo RCS.

Thanks,
Alan

If you have the newer Brembo that has a nut on the lever pivot (on the bottom), then it does not need to be safety wired. If you have a Brembo that has a lever pin without a nut on the bottom, then it needs to be wired.

I also have a newer Brembo with the nut. No issues passing tech this season so far.

Look at the vertical pin the lever pivots on - if it's hollow, there's a spring clip on the bottom that holds the pivot in the master cylinder body. the clip can fall off pretty easy, and the pin can then work its way out, and the lever will just fall off.

Being that the pin is hollow, you just run some wire through it to secure the pin to the master cylinder body.

If the lever's pivot isn't hollow, and is secured by a bolt - you're fine.

If you're in doubt, ask someone in the pits, or a staff member - it's a two minute fix that someone will be able to help you with...

yep as stated the hollow pivot pin, although better than wiring it is to use those thin zip ties and loop it back through.
