Ok this spam is ridiculous. Noticed its all coming in around 2-5am eastern time. Can the mods just shut down the ability to register as a user between 2 and 5 so this nonsense can stop? Any real user can wait and is probably sleeping due to time zones etc.

Adding a non US ip filter requires a person to review the application would fix this too. I would be happy to screen these to ease the burden on the board ops

Either way, this is ridiculous.

I agree, and you're the not the first person to volunteer to help clean it up either. Other mild stuff bugs me too - threads in the wrong forum, like the latest generator thread in the classifieds happens all the time. I would love to contribute and clean it up a bit.

^this alone has stopped 65,749 spam attempts to one of my bigger forums since the end of October. There are other versions for different forum versions, that just happens to be the one for 3.8.

I'll even help install the stuff if anybody needs it.

or...........we could just ignore them and not "respond" to them.....which keeps bumping them to the top of pages.
