Front Brake Rebuild

I personally, would call them and ask them exactly how many seals come in one "kit", and what is the difference between 5&15, and 7&17.

Don't forget to order new bango bolt crush washers also.

I rebuilt the calipers on my 2000 R6, spent about 80 for all the seals and I got a "good price"...

Call up a dealership, they should be able to do some research for you and find out how many seals come per "kit"

:agree: All you should really *need* is the seals. Only way you'll really know if you need the pistons is to take them apart in advance. Usually they can be cleaned and reused.

The seals are simply broken down into left, right and upper, lower.

You'll see 5,15 are the same parts as well as 7,17 are the same parts. They're just given a different number to represent left, right.

Don't just love how vague these diagrams are? I think the parts guys are guessing just as much as we are unless they've handled that particular part in the past.
