I was messing around with my Droid phone and found this neat app in the marketplace. It's set up for bicycle racing and running, but it's been really easy to adapt it to my trackday needs.
The app is called My Race Calendar by the Spartan Group. It has a calendar function for listing upcoming events as well as a checklist feature to make sure you don't forget anything:

It's been pretty easy to adapt it by deleting the preloaded items on the checklist and adding in my own. You can delete a checklist item by holding on it till the delete window shows up and add a new one through the phone's menu button. So far I've set it up as follows:
Rider: Helmet
Rider: Gloves
etc......
Bike: Key
Bike: Fuel
etc....
Trailer: Compressor
Trailer: Canopy
etc....
Other: Registration
Other: Cooler
etc.....
I don't know if it's available for the iphone or others, but maybe something similar is out there.
I thought some folks might find this handy too.
