World Championship Ice Racing at the US Celluar Center in Bloomington IL on Jan 21st ! Leslee and I went last year was really cool, good time if no ones busy something to do !

Yeah been the last two years but unfortunately I am currently deployed overseas. Otherwise I would be there. Have a couple buddies that actually compete. Just amateurs but still fun to watch. My buddy had the GSXR powered Quad last year.

Going to WI this weekend with Big Meanie Motorsports for our inaugural Ice Racing debut this weekend.

We'll either:
1. Hurt ourselves
2. Break the bike
3. Scare ourselves and come home early
4. Get lucky and do well.

Place your bets......

FYI, we're riding in the Open / Unlimited Class.
We're riding 300 and 500 2 strokes!
We've never sat on an ice bike before
I've never ridden anything bigger then 250 2 stroke. And I've got about a half day on that in the dirt.

Now whats your guess :)

Sat is a three hour endurance race, So Greg and Dave will split that, I'm currently force out due to recent bodywork.... Then on Sunday, both the KTM and KAW will run the traditional sprint "flat track" oval style races. I will try to get lots of pictures.....

Ran my first ice flat track race feb 5.
WOW that is cool and fast
Watching the "pro" class back it in at speed was darn cool.
i may need a few more laps to get up to pace ( and some suspension work )

Brilliant! Nice one Dave and Greg. I have always liked the look of ice racing ... speaking as a TV spectator of course!
