Hi Folks!
First, happy new year and the best to all in 2023. Anyone know any events or any interest exploring this as a pilot event at N2? I’ve been doing some light gymkhana since I started riding again two or so years ago (both on my Africa Twin with its massive fork dives and tight turn radius and the Thruxton with its massive torque and lack of tight turning radius). Fun to do and like autocross I’ve founded it helpful on bike control, dynamics (weight loading, etc.), my own ergo, etc., and have translated to faster speeds in some ways (e.g., if nothing else, proprioception, using the eyes better, etc.).
I searched the forum and this hasn’t been discussed in about a decade, so just curious. I understand that gymkhana is different to track sessions, in the same way autocross is different from a track day.
Be well all!
