What is free sag?
Is it the static sag without the rider?
I was looking through the ohlins site and they had this in the bike setup section.
Without rider (static sag):
Rear: 10-20 mm (R1-R2)
Front: 15-30 mm (F1-F2)
With rider (ride height):
Rear: 25-40 mm (R1-R3)
Front: 35-50 mm (F1-F3)

Free sag/static sag is the amount of sag with the bike under its own weight (no rider). People's terms for each sag vary. The info you found is in the ballpark (some numbers differ by bike, and by rider preference). It does seem that the numbers you found are for a street setup rather than a track setup (street setups tend to be a little softer).
