Usually Friday is for races
No it’s not. There were some Friday endurance races or practices before a WERA weekend last year, but there were no races before a trackday weekend. With N2 not running the endurance series this year, seems safe to say these dates are not races.
But I’m also wondering what special event means.
My apologies, I thought those was race days.
I wish. WERA isn’t even going to Pitt this year. Guess I’m racing with ASRA this year.

yah closest endurance to us is now 8 hours. Gonna sit this season out and hope for better prospects next year.
I wonder how many teams are going to not bother with endurance this year and if that will precipitate a further decline in 2026.

Yah curious to see as well. We were all in on RA, but with the change up, WERA has more or less abandoned the mid atlantic region. Where we were an ULW team, there is no home for us with ASRA.
I don't think that WERA technically abandoned it. I think Summit Point's prices shot through the roof and the overall attendance in the past make running there a feasible venture. With VIR, there simply wasn't availability with dates. They were booked up.

Certainly, I didn't mean that to say wera was just like efff the MidA. Obviously it's bc of prices. From what I heard, summit now wants almost what pitt wants. Re:VIR, dates aside, if they aren't willing to pay for pitt or summit, they weren't going to pay for vir either.

When are NJMP going up? That's my local track about 45 minutes away and would love to hit that too through N
(I know their prices went way up bc of first responder contract going way up... So not sure if that's creating contract considerations...).
