NJMP VIP Suites

I was wondering if anyone knew what the checkout time was if you get one of the suites at thunderbolt. Looking to make the trip to Lightning later this month with my family and was hoping to have a retreat most of the day for my young son in case he needs it. Thanks everyone

Also, FYI: The suites have gone down in quality/maintenance over the past year. I stayed in one during YCRS in May and the fridge did not work - neither did the MW oven. Didn't really care, but.... Stayed in one last weekend. Mattress/box spring was completely broken on one of the beds. I ended up getting my cot and sleeping bag out of my trailer and slept on that. Your post reminded me that I ought to call and say something to NJMP staff.

If it makes any difference, several years ago I stayed in a suite and noticed a half eaten twix bar under the pull out couch bed. Three months later, I stayed in the same room and found the aforementioned twice bar still in the same spot. I did bring it to their attention..

I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Vineland. Only abt a 20 min drive, but still way better maintained than track hotel.

I thought all the suite rooms were 2xx? I was in 213

You might be right - they're all on the same floor above the garages. I know it was x02 and x16 for sure. In May it was the 2nd one down from the end away from the tower. Last weekend it was number x16 (either 116 or 216) which was more or less toward the tower but partway up.

To be honest, the suites are convenient, and I appreciate not having to leave the track. That being said, there is very little "VIP" or even "suite" about them. Their biggest advantage is simply location. They're not terrible but I don't know that I'd want my family in there.

If it had been a Reese's peanut butter cup Greg would not have left it for second visit.
