Never hurts to check voltage with the bike off, during starting, and at 5-6k RPM..
Checked that along with a ton of blind troubleshooting. I believe it was the secondary throttle valve actuator. Lucked out and hit the kill switch with the airbox off and the flappers didn't move correctly. Normally this throws a FI code/light, but when I checked the codes, it must have been contacting/working. A little solder later, the bike has been firing and running reliably.....haven't rode it yet, but I'll be taking another bike to the next trackday "just in case".
That's a shame. From my spot at turn 11 it looked liked you were getting along quite well!
