Plasti Dip

HavocCat

Chris
So has anyone ever used this stuff?

When I get my track plastics, I have an idea of what I want the bike to look like, but my tank is going to be the completely wrong color. Not really a big deal tbh but if theres a way that I can coat the tank and make it reversible if I ever wanted that would be cool.

A friend of mine suggested plasti dip, or covering the whole tank in vinyl, like a wrap.

Thoughts?

Plastidip is pretty easy to peel off. My fairings are plastidipped now and it is ok but I would not recommend it on any surface that will see wear, like the tank.

I'd suggest getting a cheap tank off ebay and keeping your mint tank intact. This way you can tinker with some rattle can paint. I think Duplicolor sells some two stage paint. Or you could just have a pro like Swenson or Bart do a nice paint job.
