I just came across this writeup. Very interesting how a pro describes a lap at Putnam doing 1:12. Makes me feel like I have been riding a completely different track all this time

WERA used to hold a National there until the WERA people and the onwers of Putnam got into a "tiff". It was basiacally over the no camping ruel and turn 10. There is a mile long thread on it on the WERA board if you do a search. I think it is called "Putnam Park President Replies" or something like that.

the Putnam site says they host 5 races a year. Fasttrax might be one of those rounds.

As a WERA racer that lives an hour from Putnam, and 25 minutes from IRP, it's a real shame there isn't any racing in Indiana. In the WERA North Central region all our races are out of state...Nelson, Grattan, Beaver. Even the Bluegrass race was cancelled last year. From what I gather we will NEVER race at Putnam.....bummer. Rant over!!!

Fasttrax club racing series raced there 2 years ago. No races planned for this year though.
