I know I don't really need the fans and they are coming off... but on my R6 the harness is basically glued in place and I can't pry it off for the life of me. Any issues with just cutting them off? I don't want to find out later when I put the bike back together that it won't start because of that but I figure cutting the harness off and just disconnecting them are basically equivalent as long as I don't care about putting the fans back on.
