Registering bike w/ Salvage title?

All you VA residents out there....anyone know if a bike with a salvage title can be registered for the street again?

I'm from VA, but have never tried to register a salvage bike there, but I'm pretty sure you will have to have it inspected by either the State Police or some sort of DMV inspector. I've heard of South Carolinians simply going to the DMV and having someone look over your bike for functionality and then your done. Could be a nasty rumor though... I know it's not much help, but when and if you get it done, please let me know as I will eventually be moving back home to VA...

Very helpful! Thank you. Guess I could have made the 600RR a "street fighter"/track bike. Damn. Oh well, probably would have been a slight PITA anyway.
