One thing I think you'll find is that trackdays will make you a better street rider. My first track day was back in '99 on my street GSXR750 at Carolina. I found how hard I could get on the brakes, how far I could lean the bike, and how to properly balance myself and bike at extreme conditions. These skills all translate to the street, should you get into a tricky situation. I've now abandoned all street riding, and the only time I'll be getting back on a street bike would be when I get a cruiser or sport touring bike. For me, sportbikes on the street are just boring, especially after doing trackdays. I think you'll find the NESBA community to be friendly and helpful...
