Who's had it done and what did you pay? I am looking at replacing 2nd and 5th gear, the associated main axle gears, and a couple shift collars. :banghead:

Belive me, thee will be an 09 R1 in my garage as soon as I come across a decent deal. I was really hoping this bike would last the season, but I have doubts.

With some practice.

They can be pretty easy if it is a cassette transmission like a TZ or other proper race bike.

The case had to be split - which adds some R&R costs.
