I,m in the same situation you are . Planned the vacation around trackdays and look what it got me . However, we dont leave until Monday the 15th, sooooo . :dunno:

I'm signed up for Sunday. Funny thing about making reservations at VIR lodging - it'll only let you book 3 night stays . . . :banghead:

Stay at the Sleep Inn in danville. I stayed there in june . Great place . Tell them your with VIR and they give you a good discount. Bout 80 a nite after discount . You have to call them though . Wont give discount online. I booked with them a couple weeks in advance for one nite only.

We booked two nights for July 2nd and 3rd. That was the minimum but then ours was a two day event. Maybe that's the difference. Days booked must = days of event.

Wait till the week before and call them back again. Their just holding off to see if they can book all 3 nights, as the event gets closer and IF their not booked they'll give you a single night IF they have it. I've done it a few times. Hey some money is better than vacant rooms! If not, Danville, Holiday Inn Express, like $80 a night.

Just checked again tonight . . . two night minimum stay now. I'm just going to call tomorrow and try that. This was my first try at booking there online.
