Which is why my new bike was 3.5k. I enjoy quality and have the money to boot. If there was nearly as good of a deal at a higher price, I would have potentially bought it.

glad you didn't spend more than you needed to.

I don't mean to get down on people for spending money. I should be so lucky. You can look at a bike that out-classes your skills in two ways. Either as a waste of money, or as something to grow into (or shoot for anyway).

4 years into this trackday/racing thing, and i'm looking at going backward in technology to cut costs :D
