1969 5 hp King Cobra mini-bike started my love affair with two wheels and a motor!:D There have been many since mostly motocross bikes (loved them all) which is why I love my Supermoto so much and I really like my 99 Triumph Trophy 1200 handles great and has all the luggage needed for long distance hauling butt :D:D:D

2005 Zuma

Favorite was probably the '05 R1, but I ride the Zuma more than the other two I have now.

My favorite all-around sport bike was my 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. I crashed awkwardly at VIR (only my 3rd time at the racetrack) but I could have easily rebuilt it into a track bike. Instead I let it go.

I had it when I was stationed on Okinawa Japan. I went everywhere on that island with that bike. Super easy in Naha city to park and get in between traffic. Bike started everytime, was dead reliable and the air cooled XR motor was bulletproof. I was a dummy for not bringing it back to the states.

I would agree, the good ole reliable bullet proof motor. The Unicam Motor is nice, but not worth the maintenance that is required.

Nice Bike!!!

1984 RZ350....more fun than a barrel of monkeys...for about 100 miles, then butt hurt sets in.
1982 CBX is cool too, just have to time warp back to the 80's to ride it properly, if you try to sport it around like a modern bike it will bite hard.

In over 30 years of riding I have owned a lot of different bikes but without a doubt my favorite is my 2007 MV Agusta Brutale 910R.

I started as a motocrosser so here's my list:

'80 Honda CR80....(my first REAL motorized scoot)
'84 Honda CR125
'84 Honda FT 500 Ascot (my first street ride)
'85 Honda CR125
'86 Honda CR125...(this was an awesome bike)
'87 Honda CR125...(this one was even better)
'87 Honda CR250...(started racing 2 classes...my favorite mx-er of all time)
'88 Honda CR125...(they ruined a good thing)
'89 Yamaha YZ125...(not built like a Honda)
'90 Yamaha YZ250...(ditto)
'93 Honda CBR600 F2...sold it...(wish I still had this one, it was a fun bike)
'99 Yamaha R6...(Getting serious about street riding)
'01 Yamaha YZ125...(Seeing if I still have it....nope, too old/fat/lazy, to make it go. Need a bigger bike)
'03 Honda CR250...(I'm too old for this stuff )
'05 Honda CBR 1000 Repsol edition....(because it looked sweet)...sold it for my '09 R6
'07 Honda CBR 1000 Repsol edition....(my favorite bike, still have it)
'09 Yamaha R6...(In street clothes at the moment, but it's suspended and tuned for track work)

All of my bike have been a favorite for one reason or another.

First bike was a Suzuki RF900R. I learned how to ride on it, dropped it a few times. Wish I could have seen Greg's face when the mirror came off in his hand at speed.

Second came my 2000 Triumph TT600. Learned so much about riding on that bike. Was my first new bike. No power, great handling.

Third was my pride & joy a brand new 2002 R1. The red & white paint scheme. 23,000 miles later & she sits waiting in the garage under cover to be ridden again. No street miles in 3.5 years.

Fourth was the 03 Mille that I bought (stole) from Streetfighter122. I lusted after this bike for a few years. Damn near killed me when Streetfighter wanted to buy a Tuono & came home with it. Add insult to injury, I had to bring it home for him!:banghead: She took me from my 1st TD to :i:

Last but not least, the frankenbike. An 03ish GSXR 750 Lenny built. Dropped 15 seconds from my Lightning times in 4 days there and who knows how much everywhere else. Each one a favorite in it's own way. Wish I still had them all

My favorite bike was the 1995 YZ 250, don't know why but it was just so relibale and awsome to ride at the time I had it wish I never sold it b/c i think it would still be an awsome bike for the enduros that I do now on my 125 which is just to small

honerable mention is the 2002 Kawasaki ZX9R. First and only bike I ever bought new. Took the bike on a cross counrty trip in 2002 from NY to CA to watch the WSB races at laguna. did my first track day on it. I sold it when I had a lack of funds and bought the 99 zx6r and got a year of track days out of the money I sold it for. Wish I never sold it because I think it is one of the best sport touring motorcycles and I would enjoy the bike a lot moe now then when I owned it.

Favorite bike was and is still my 2002 ZX9R. I had wanted a '9 since 1994, and finally bought mine new in 2002, the same week Steve bought his R1. Did my first 2 trackdays on it, and 24,000 miles later, it's still bulletproof, never been crashed, and is a great all around bike. Favorite bike I never bought was the 2004-2005 ZX10; just couldn't find a way to buy it and still pay for the ZX9. And it was a bit hairy when the mirror came off of Steve's RF900 during one of those HSTA rides, at speed, on a damp road, with bald tires...

I agree with my brother Slow Steve!Bike which I had a lot of fun chasing Steve on his '02 R1,Greg on his '02 ZX9,Brian on his Gixxer 1K...was my '02 RC51 with Sato's and bunch of other stuff thundering down the road, setting off car alarms!:D Fun- crazy times for sure!
After 25K trouble free miles and putting only 2 miles on it for two years by pushing it arround Steves garage and my back yard I sold her last fall!
