I rode there last fall and plywood is a good idea. The paddock was gravel. There were some folks setup along the road but most of us were in the gravel.

If you have a 8 X 10 patio rug or some astro-turf, roll it up and bring it to the track! Its alot lighter than plywood!

The paddock is covered with balast rock, kinda like the stuff they use for Rail Road Track. It's fairly large but it isn't dusty like at VIR North.
