I had my first track day experience yesterday thanks to N2 and help from cool guys like John! It was a bit intimidating the first couple of laps, however it was pretty damn fun. I wish I would have cleared my day and have stayed the entire time. Having a smaller cc none supersport bike made things pretty funny when guys were flying past me in full blown supersport liter bikes, but it seemed like we all took the turns at generally the same speeds give or take. 
One piece of advice that I'm glad I listened to was not to ride my bike to the track. It was really tempting to do since I live in Atlanta but I'm certainly glad I did not for multiple reasons.
I will certainly sign up for the full day next time. Have all the proper gear and have even more fun I'm sure! I'm saying all this to say thank you for everyone for introducing me to the sport, helping me out, and making me feel welcome.
