So...It has been a crazy Feb. I have been working an average of 15+ hours a day, 7 days a week for the last month, trying to get everything ready for the AMA opener at Daytona, and the start of the CCS and WERA seasons. I've literally been putting so much stress on the shop equipment that I have broken multiple paint guns, the air compressor a few times, and blown out several air hoses ect...and wreaking havoc on all the quick disconnects ect. Now, trackday season is just around the corner and I will be doing my best to catch up as quickly as possible. I greatly apologize if the communication has gotten a little slow. I'll be making my best effort to get focused on catching up with emails, PMs, texts ect, and keep the refinishing going on the bikes.

Thanks to all for the opportunities to work with you.

I'm starting to post a small percentage of my stuff on Facebook as well...probably more pics going up there if anybody is bored;)

A little preview of the Triumph Motorcycles/ Riders Discount 675R for Daytona...ridden by last year's winner Joey Pascarella

We started with a pair of new, perfect 675R tanks. Then we cut them up! My neighbor business did the welding and metal work...and he is literally one of the best there is right now!

Started out like this:

Depends on the colors and size of the flake, they really require different application depending how dark they are, and how big they are. I have a few flake-specific guns, which are a must for larger flakes (some won't even fit through less than a 1.75 or even a 2.0). I know this is a really non-specific answer, but it also depends on the "look" you want to acheive. I mix a lot into intercoat clear, I also have a "flake-buster", others can mix with basecoats and candies...

On this recent RD bike for example, there are actually 3 different red metal-flakes, mixed into a HOK intercoat clear/flake carrier, sprayed as a mid-coats. It takes A LOT of clearcoat to burry those things...A LOT!:D

Amongst the endurance tanks we did for the Triumph/RD team, we also do a lot of other custom endurance tanks for racers. This is a 2012 GSXR 1000, with added capacity and a custom dry-break set-up.

This would be the perfect for Trackdays, especially SED and open track days! Never have to come back in and re-fuel!:D

And sometimes the shop ends up turning into a custom windscreen factory. Tough to tell from the pics, but the windscreens are all solid metal-flake, all paint.

Hey Drew,

So I'm down in Maryland visiting my brother and brought the bike down so we could mount the plastics. You my friend, are a GENIUS. I've been visiting his garage every hour just to look at them and again this morning, the first thing I did was wake up and walk to the garage. THANK YOU to you and Chris (extreme graphicologist)!!!!!
