All the GYTR and GBRacing kit is already sorted. Yamaha Motor Europe had a track-prep'd R9 at the last WSBK round in Jerez.

RW put up front in the article "Insiders say that Yamaha will support at least one multi-rider R9 team in MotoAmerica Supersport."

I do have to admit that I don't hate the looks of the R9 at all. It's a sharp looking bike. Just want to sling some Pirelli slicks on it and give it a rip around PittRace, Summit...

I’m thinking (hoping) Yamaha Motor Europe and Ten Kate Racing are going to unveil the accessories and parts list at EICMA next week.

This MCN video is a little annoying but it’s the most revealing exposure I’ve seen yet.

Once the track fairings are painted, I bet it looks even better.

I'm thinking of black with some obnoxious fanboi N2 graphics.

Between Matt Scholtz and Blake Davis in MotoAmerica and Stefano Manzi and Michael Ruben Rinaldi in World SSP, Yamaha’s got some real talent to give the new R9 the best possible debut. I haven’t checked if any BSB teams are fielding the new R9 but would imagine they’re not far behind with adoption.

Certain everyone’s tracking the delay until Q3 with retail models due to some supply issues. Personally, I’m relieved as I need the time to clear out the garage.

I had a business call with a west coast race team on Friday. In our pre-meeting chatter, the owner shared that he just finished in house fabrication of parts and race prep of an R9 and they're testing today. The owner of the team is pretty motivated about the R9's potential.
