Is it just me, or does everything just look off on the Yamahama?
For me, it's the "anteater" fairing that is prevalent across the grid. All the empty space between the front wheel and fairing is hideous, but I'm guessing is aerodynamically optimal as everyone does it. It almost looks like an adventure bike:

Compare that to this:

IMO the way the front fairing kind of wraps around the front wheel looks way better.

Add the wings and the awful stegosaurus tails and yeah the bikes are pretty hideous at the moment. I hope the new regs force a better balance between form and function.

The radiators on those things are huge! I'd guess they do that to maximize air flow into the maw of that beast.

I don’t know how much I’ll be able to closely follow MotoGP this year but I’ll always be interested in the competition between Yamaha and Honda.

The article below reinforces my perception that Yamaha is going to rebound faster than Honda from the low point both have been in. While Yamaha is focused on carefully assembling the right talents to overcome legacy stovepipes and time zone differences, Honda is still stuck with Alberto Puig skippering a talented crew into the Sea of Shrugs and the Ocean of Obfuscation. HRC can’t help Alberto Puig move along to other opportunities in life fast enough.
