The WorldSBK Thread

Gerloff in green as a single bike "official" team - might be a little bit more lean than a full factory team but it'll be beneficial for the team to have single rider focus.

Track Day Superstar
Who knows what happened to the stock 600 & 1000 classes that existed back in the day at the world level?

Everyone has ups and downs, no? All of the interviews I've seen of him in years have been on point and positive...and appreciative.

I’ve always thought he was one of the coolest interviews during his MotoGP days. Then he did Dakar and finished first on one stint. Amazing.

Never followed him during his AMA days, so not sure what that was like. But he always seemed almost “child-like” in his enthusiasm for riding the bikes - and especially his win for Ducati.

Incredible story from two weeks ago.

And then this. What an athlete!

Excellent season. Excellent season ending weekend. The World WCR was super...but heartbreaking at the last corner on the last lap!

In other news, I bet AB19 is wishing he had a few days off before testing to re-cock his outlook after a miserable final weekend.

A little info. New Googles gives you nearly anything other than your search criteria! "I'm old enough to remember when they promised that technology will help us."

The first test in 2025 is scheduled for Jerez on the 22nd and 23rd of January, and it’s likely to be a busy one with two days of action before a move to Portimao the following week. On the 28th and 29th January, the Portuguese venue hosts the final European test before the whole paddock heads to Australia. On the 17th and 18th of February, there are two days of testing at Phillip Island for the Official Test – the WorldSBK and WorldSSP field will take part – the final testing before the season begins.
